MetaQuotes Software Corp. released a new application for Android released a few days ago. The most interesting thing about this app is that it’s not a regular app. Its uniqueness is in the fact that it is not an entertainment application – it is one of the first serious tools for working directly from your Android device.
As you may have guessed, the program deals with Forex market which is now available for Android mobile devices. We must admit the skills of the developers: even though the program is not completely perfect (actually, it would be naïve to expect a perfect first version of an app), the developers did a great job when creating it.
First and foremost, the application runs on both Android smartphones and tablets, offering users an optimized interface for each type of devices. Other great features of the program include the ability to work with 570 servers of broker companies (and the number of companies is still growing); advanced options when working with both current orders and buy stop orders; very convenient online trade functions. It should also be mentioned, that none of the features of desktop versions of the program was lost in the mobile version, so the user doesn’t have to get used to the usability of a mobile version.
In addition to the functional, which is, in my humble opinion, the most important thing in the program, the developers paid attention to the interface and created easy access to analytical tools, which include 30 technical indicators, as well as the ability to choose types of graphs according to the user’s personal taste.
It is a pity (taking into consideration the efforts of the developers to optimize the traffic data), but the application and part of its functionality still depends on data transfer, which causes some criticism due to its instability. But I think that these problems will be reviewed and fixed by the developers in the foreseeable future. Apart from that, the application may be absolutely seriously called a success at the Android market.
