Apple technology is something that has really dominated the technological world for a long time now. They’re a multi-billion dollar company that just seems to be growing and growing. Now, whilst the technology they produce is meant to be some of the highest class there is, we really want to explore whether this is true. Some people will argue that the only pieces of tech you should have is Apple, whilst others will tell you that there’s better out there on the market for the prices you might pay if you went to Apple. For all those that critique Apple, we want to explore why it might not be as good as people make it out to be, but why it still remains the leading technology giant out there. The Pricing
The pricing is something that can definitely be scrutinised. Apple are notorious for charging through the nose for the prices of technology that they create, purely because they can. People want the products, so they’re going to pay the price, no matter how much it is. In a way, people are paying the price to brag about the brand they have. Think of it as buying something from Gucci. You then have a statement piece to parade around. It’s sort of the same with Apple technology! However, that’s not to say that the product they’re creating doesn’t live up to the money you’re going to pay. To make a phone for example, it’s going to cost a fraction of the price for them, hence why they’re such a successful billion dollar company. What you’re paying for is the impact it’s going to have on your life essentially. If you want the Apple brand, you pay for it, if not, you go somewhere else. It’s as simple as that!
The Quality
We want to talk about the quality, because if there’s one thing that Apple struggles with, it’s the quality of their phones. When you first get the phone, it’ll be this perfect bit of tech that changes your life. Give it a year, and the battery is dead after 5 minutes, and there is updates happening all the time that are destined to ruin your life. Laptops are a different story. If you go to laptop.review, you’ll see a detailed review of the Macbook, showing that it is a lot better than some of its rivals in that area, and they quality definitely doesn’t fade as quick as it does with the mobile phones. However, with mobile phones, they’re definitely not as good as they’re cracked up to be. In fact, more and more people are moving to the likes of Samsung now!
The ideas that they have are really clever. They’re tirelessly working to make sure that they’re at the top of the field with their innovative ideas, but in a way, they’re not different to what other companies are creating. Samsung, LG, and other brands all have the same ideas, they just apply them in different ways.
